Jarvis - Flora

Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 2 August 1901

Saturday evening at Mace a girl, aged about seventeen years by the name of Jarvis, fell dead. She had been helping the harvesters in the barn and becoming heated, stepped to the door and while standing there fell over dead. She had been troubled with palpitation of the heart previously and this with the intense heat caused her death.
She was the daughter of the widow Jarvis, and was a most estimable young lady. The funeral occurred on Monday at Union Chapel, conducted by Rev. Elliott.
